INSTRUCTOR OF TUBA/EUPHONIUM
SEPTEMBER, 2002

RESPONSIBILITIES: Studio teaching of tuba/euphonium and related activities. Coach brass chamber music. Perform with Lawrence Brass Quintet. Teach tuba/euphonium component of Brass Techniques class for music education students. Minimum half-time appointment (benefits eligible). Possibility of additional teaching assignments dependent on applicant's qualifications and conservatory's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Outstanding teacher and performer. Strong interest in chamber music. Orchestral experience desirable. Ability and interest in recruiting students.

CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC: Serving more than 350 music majors, the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, founded in 1874, is a purely undergraduate program offering preparation for professional careers in music within the intellectual environment of a liberal arts college.
