Seems I read a post from someone suggesting hot glue to keep the spring centered on the bottom cap. Sound reasonable to you?
A little in the way of explanation: as you may remember, I recently switched to my first piston horn, a 56j. When I remove the valves to oil them, I have to replace the valve, then unscrew the bottom cap, center the spring in the bottom cap, and screw it back on. Being used to the low-maintenence rotors for all these years, it seems like a lot of trouble. Am I missing something stupidly obvious?
