I thought this would be a great opportunity for folks to chime in with some of their favorite recordings of works that we perhaps don't hear very often. I'll start with my short list:

Charles Ives - Symphony #1 - Tilson Thomas/CSO (I believe the absolutely jaw dropping tuba playing here is done by Rex Martin. Correct me if I'm wrong)

Malcolm Arnold - Symphonies 1-6 - Hickox - London Sym - Some very interesting stuff here and the brass sounds phenomenal!

Hans Rott - Symphony in E Major - Segerstam - Norrkoping Symphony - Rott studied with Bruckner and the influence of Mahler is plain to hear. Well worth a listen.

Franz Schmidt - Symphony #2 - Jarvi - CSO - Simply unbelievable! 'Nuff said.

Heitor Villa Lobos - Bachianas Brasilieras #8 - Lopez Cobos - Cincinnati Sym - Huge tuba part and Mike Thornton does a wonderful job here.
