I like mine.

Still using a PT-50, most often -- sometimes the B&S 52 that came with it, and sometimes a Hirsbrunner M1 that I bought used. I don't often use my Conn Helleberg, mainly because it's in my horn at work. I'll agree that the horn works best with a funnel-ish, "American-style" mouthpiece.

Tuning has been good, the valves are plenty quick (as are all valves that are reasonably maintained), and people have liked the sound. The short "tuning slide" in the back is good for quickly dumping water, and it's not very difficult to get rid of the rest of the water after rehearsal or a concert.

It does seem to be on the sharp side, but with me, it's got enough room in either direction to match most any situation.

Am I posting just to defend my choice? Nah -- who cares? I can't stand the Mirafone 186, but other people sound great on theirs. My 3302 and I get along just fine, thankyouverymuch.
