I am selling my Perantucci PT-10 F tuba for $4500 firm.
Here is some info that may interest you. Also, I have three pictures of the tuba. (Links located below) And can get you more if you wish. Here are the specs:
-New ball and socket linkage by Curt Wood.
-Interchangeable lead pipe. I only have one but others can be purchased from Robert Tucci if you wish.
-Both 5th valve slides. (Step and a half and two step)
-The thumb ring has been removed although I have it and will come with the horn. (Many players prefer to remove the ring on PT-10's to improve hand posture.)
-Serial # is 217671 Made in GDR.
-Comes with Reunion Blues gig bag in good condition. It will be shipped in a friend's hardcase but will obviously need to be returned.
-Condition: Very Very good. Only a few dings in the bottom bow area that will not be visible while playing. NO OTHER DENTS (See pics)
-Slides are very nice and linkage performs EXCELLENT.
-Reason for selling: My professor just bought a new PT-15 and is selling his old PT-10 to me. Yes, I love these PT-10's so much I am getting another. His horn seems to be better for me. (Not to take anything away from this horn).
Well, send your inquiries and questions to me at slchaffin(AT)ou.edu
I will be happy to answer any questions. I am located in Oklahoma.
Here is only ONE picture of the horn. You may view the other's by clicking the provided links:
