First of all, his Cerveny is old. I would say that it looked more like a bigger Meinl Weston 25 style horn (tall bell stack without a giant flair) than a Miraphone 186 like the new ones do.
Modifications...
Leadpipe: Custom receiver that looks like an early attempt at a Dillon AGR (it isn't, but I recall some kind of adjustable parts)
Tuning rod: Spring loaded and attached to the main tuning slide
Valves: Odd linkage that was not original. It didn't look much like anything we commonly use today. It was kind of a nylon "uniball" type linkage...the type of thing many t-bone players have their triggers switched to.
I can't remember some of the other things...it has been a while since I've seen the horn. He didn't use it a ton...used mostly a 186.
