Make sure the the water key is sealed. Put it in a bowl of water, plug one end and blow on the other end of the tunning slide with water key submerged and watch for bubbles. Be sure to have slide grease on all the other slides. It is easy to over look simple things as such. I find that the water key made of cork can dry out faster than the neopream. The cork may seem to look fine but will and can leak. It will make your sound stuffy.
