As far as I know all spare parts to the Conn 20K sousa models is still in production. If you have access to a new 20K, you easily can check for compability.

I hardly would believe that the dimensions of the threadings have changed.

But as Conn some decades ago stated to use brass tubing thinner walls, the new slides might sit loose in the old receivers.

There surely will be quite a number of repairmen, that can tell you which measurements to make, and who can get the parts for you. But one person, who has worked a lot with conglomerating old, new, and custom made parts into instruments, that actually work, is Joe Sellmansberger of MidSouth Music in Memphis, Tennessee.

He frequently posts here under several funny names. When he uses "js" or "JoeS" you might find his mail address there.

Best of luck with your 20K. I actually can double that one. I have the very similar, but older 40K.
