The only other mouthpiece I tried was a couple of weeks ago, and it was a Melton 150-4. I was told it was like a Miraphone C4. I liked it quite a bit better than what I was using, and was considering getting a C4, when this whole 182 thing came up. So I'm sort of back at ground zero for a mouthpiece. Matt put one in that he thought worked well with the tuba (don't remember what it is) and I'll take it from there. It's actually pretty similar to the Bach 32E that I was using with the Eb. I'd like to try a C4 just for comparison on this one. Maybe the new tuba teacher at the U of A has a box full of mpcs I can try.
