I just received my new upright (not oval) Cerveny euphonium in C with four rotary valves and an extra tuning slide for B flat conversion. The craftsmanship in this instrument is truly superior. I have never seen a small C tuba before, but this Cerveny euph must be similar. Bydlo sounds great on it. The mouthpiece supplied (11C L) is disappointing on this horn. I find a shaved Schilke 57 or 58 to be perfect in adding darkness and body to the sound from this instrument.
