What a load of cr*p! Any one of those guys could play that job better than its ever been played ( no Insult To Chester Who is a great player). The level of the young players today is so far and away better than the level of of their teachers. This is a symphony job . There was a time in the 50's and 60's before the buisness went down the tube that players walked in late or drunk to get out of there contracts and get into the freelace world . Top players made much more money free lancing. This is all for an Orchestra job that consits of maybe 75 pieces of music.
The job situation is really horrible. We are in a museam buisness. Its a shame that young players will never have the chance to practice their art on a professional level.

Keep playing but get your degree from MIT.
