The Yorkbrunner is a copy of Mr Jacobs' original York or York #1.
The Floyd-o-phone is a copy of Mr Jacobs second York, York #2.

Here's the confusion - Mr Jacobs first sold the CSO his York #2 and then several years later, his York #1. There are some that refer to CSO York #1 as the first one they bought which was Mr Jacobs' York #2. CSO #2 was Mr Jacobs' #1. I suggest that now the CSO owns both Yorks, we use the same numbering - CSO #1 is Mr Jacobs' #1, CSO #2 is Mr Jacobs #2 to avoid this confusion.

The reason he did not sell both Yorks at the same time was because the IRS nailed him with capital gains tax - selling both would have put him into the next higher tax bracket so he did it different years.

Clear as mud? All I can say is that if you think this numbering is crazy, try Dvorak symphonies.
