I was wondering difference (physical, and sound produced) between the PT-48, 49, and 50.
I currently use a PT-48 for orchestra, but it doesn't have a sound that suites me when I play in bands (for that I go back to my Conn Helleburg). Part my be that the players on either side of my in the band I'm in play on BBb's, but with the Helleburg the blend is noticably better, but my low-range suffers.
I am satisfide with the PT-48 in my orchestra however. I feel it supports the ensamble well, and blend with the basses is easy, as is blend with the trombones.
I guess my real question is would any of these other mouthpiece be better for BOTH uses.

Thank You,
Steve C
