it wasn't sarcastic at all. i do know what you are talking about regarding those auditions. when we played that first time, it seemed that we all were pretty even on the prepared stuff, but they were looking for someone to play the crap out of the sight reading. they knew that we could all do the job with no problems, they were just looking for a method to sort us out. sight reading was their test.
that's the way it seemed to me. but then again, i was asked to leave via the back door...
gotta go dodge bullets now, say hi to sirie (sp?) and the rest of the gang for me. hope to visit this summer.
