I've got one sitting beside me right now. It works very well. I am using it in a large Yamaha F and it fits the horn like a glove. It comes with a larger foam "doughnut" (you would have to see one to know what I am talking about) for horns with a larger bell throats. The mute fits in the horn so that it is flush with the top of the bell making it possible to put the horn and mute into a case or bag. At $175 it is a little pricey, but I think it is worth it. It certainly doesn't have the problems associated with the Silent Brass. You can get them from Osmun's but expect a wait.
