My BERP has four holes in the end and an adjuster to cover various parts of them. I keep the thing attatched to my horn at all times and mine it most useful when I run across a difficult interval jump. It's nice to be able to hold the horn, do the fingering and buzz the interval a few times to get it in your head before you put the mouthpiece back on. I know it seems a little pricey for what it is, but the time I would have spent making it is time I spent practicing.
