I am. And I'm not attacking people who use F or Eb horns; I'll probably buy one not too far from now myself. I guess what got me on this subject is that so many F tubaists seem to have problems or complaints with their horns. Maybe I've just looked at a disproportionate number of the posts and have drawn the wrong conclusion, but you don't see the same type of complaints about BBb or CC horns. I certainly understand the need for a smaller horn when playing the really high stuff, especially for extended periods. I also understand that smaller horns allow for easier technique and more extension of use of air. I've just heard many parts played on big horns in the same ranges that, to me, have a better sound.
