Steve is right on the button. I also started on the Tilz 9, then switched to the Bobo Solo... awesome combo! Great sound, great articulations, great range possibilities.

Intonation problems are exactly what Steve said. Also, the high Bb (octave above the staff) takes a bit of getting used to, but it's there. As for fixing the intonation problems at the top of the staff (G, Ab, A), I just use "alternate" fingerings, but in fast passages, the "easy" fingerings are not so bad that can't use them.

Overall, this is the best F tuba I've ever played. Get your hands on one and check it out for yourself. I have a lot of fun with mine, that's sure! Good luck.
