If you are interested in a 601 with modifications needed by a pro orchestra player, and a horn that has a proven track record, then look into the customized 601 that Jay Bertolet has for sale. It took a Walter Nirschl Floydophone to unseat the 601 in Jay's collection. You won't have to pay much (if any) more for it than the 601 Dillons has for sale.
