Speaking about urban legends, remember the rap a few years ago about having the outer edge of a CD green? Some company came out with something for $10 to improve the sound of a CD. It was a green magic marker.
My all time favorite is gold ends. Tell me that you can hear the difference with a cable sprayed with 1/200th gold! I'll stick with Switchcraft ends that have been around for 50 years.
I have seen houses wired with Monster Cable at $2 a foot. I'm glad I didn't pay the bill for 10 pairs of speakers in a house.
