Check the archives about a month or so ago regarding rotary disassembly. I asked the same question myself and got all the right answers, plus a website with a full diagram of the operation. There's another site that has all the 'Fone serial no's and corresponding year models. It's at :
musictrader.com/serialnos.html (don't know how to do the link thingy). I got mine apart, cleaned them well, and used Binak oil on them, and they're working like a champ.
