I know a lot of tenor trombone players who can get the low B-natural with an f-attachment by either lipping the note down or pulling their f-attachment slide enough to get down to the pitch. If you are sustaining the low F# you might try to see if you can pull enough slide to get it.
If the situation doesn't present itself where that is an option, I would go for the false tone 2&3 fingering. With enough work these can be pretty functional. Talk to a skilled trumpeter about learning false tones - they use them often for practice / warming down.
