After I stopped playing my Alex BBb and began playing the 2145 in the orchestra, I must admit
that I was quite skeptical about its functionality in the orchestral setting. However, all it really took
was a slight change in playing style and time with the horn; it is now perfect in this quarters
repertoire which included Firebird and Academic Festival Overture. It gets a surprisingly large
and quite fundamental sound. There are some times I would love to be blowing on a huge 6/4 CC
in orchestra, but it's not worth that huge financial setback yet.
