I'll have to disagree with Brent. In my current ensemble I play with a student who uses a new Willson MONSTER BBb. This horn was DESIGNED for this setting, I mean...it's one bad ass horn. I play a 186, but when we get right down to it, my C horn dwarfs the sound of the Willson. This might just be a special case, but it's definitely the horn, cause I'm not that great a player.
