Live: Milwaukee Symphony performing the complete Firebird. There was just something about it that made everything come together beautifully both emotionally and musically. I have yet to see other orchestras top this (of course, I also have yet to see a live performance by Cleveland)
Recording: Symphony Fantastique - Barenboim and CSO, 1996. The man is simply one of the best musicians on the podium in our time. Buy this recording.
