When Dave "retired" with carpal tunnel he sold all of his horns and moved with his wife to Arab (pronounced with a long A as in hay) Alabama . He finally couldn't stand it anymore and got a sousaphone which he sold to get a really cool helicon from Bill at Southeastern Musical Services in Huntsville Alabama. The helicon is painted black (not black lacquer...black automobile paint) with brass lacquer highlights.
I am sure by now he has others, but I know he still has this helicon.
