I have found that no matter what syllable you use it is important to concentrate most on the vowel sound. The consonant should be relatively light and should anticipate the intended placement of the note. The vowel should be on time. Try to avoid getting "consonant bound" by focusing on maintaining a long steady vowel sound throughout. Hope that helps.
