Unfortunately, no. I played a MW25 a few years ago and liked it but did not love it. But I was told it was not a great example of the model. Haven't played a miraphone in many years, 'cause I just don't much like them. Not to knock them, many great players use them and I know they have many virtues, but in my callow youth I played a very good 5v Alexander BBb and, for me, that's what a 'German' tuba should sound like and remains my ideal orchestral horn. I confess also a strong preference for pistons (other than a rotor for #5). I am only a convert to Kings in my old age, I prefered Conn 2XJ horns in the days I had to carry a section with only a couple of tubas in a 75 piece ensemble.
