I know Marty Schmitt (the seller) and have done business with him several times. In my experience, he's been fair and will honestly answer questions to the best of his ability. Marty also buys from eBay; but his primary interest is collecting old cornets. It isn't eBay per se that you have to look out for--you have to know your seller.
So what else is new? :)
