Has anyone ever seen anything like a gift that I received recently? I got a plastic toy sousaphone that is annodized with gold plating. The bell actually comes off, and the bell FLAIR actually comes off of the bell. It works on the same principal as those plastic toy saxophones, in that it has eight little buttons to push that each play one note of the diatonic scale. There is even a movable neck on this thing with a ball-and-socket joint that you blow air into to go to the eight button mechanism. It is just BARELY big enough that I, a large man (200 pounds, 6'2", size 44 chest), can "get into" the thing. What a fun novelty! It is very old and quite well-made. I've never seen one before.
