I think the question is a matter of what you can afford in horns you like. If you want a 5 valve horn, but can't afford one yet, consider the brand new King CC which will be out in a couple of months. It will be available with either 4 or 5 valves, and the way the horn is constructed you can add the 5th valve as a kit. The prototype was at the Brass Conference in New York this weekend and was a pretty impressive horn. I heard from the UMI rep that about 30 of the initial production run of 50 horns are already sold. If you're in the midwest, you should try to get to Eastlake to the UMI plant to try one out.
