How is the sound from the 601? Is it nice and dark? I have never playd a horn that large before. but the way I see it, why buy a Miraphone 188 for $6000, when you could get a 4 valve 601 for right at $4000. Heck, that's cheaper than the Miraphone 186-5V. A five valve would be better though wouldn't it? It would be around $5000 for the 5 valve 601. Also, what is the difference between the Cerveny 681 and 686? I was recently looking through Brasswind's catalog, and the only difference I can see is the price.
