Dave, I think you missed my point. In an attempt(apparently an unsuccesful one, at that) to show that people succeed with all types of instruments(the mention of the 4/4 Rudy rotary was the thrust here , as well as the fact that Hisbrunner rotary horns are equally capable). I thought the seed of this discussion was about equipment, not musicianship, and was trying to give an example of first hand experience as to what successful players are using of late.
