If you enjoy the sound from Helleburg style, ie funnel shaped, mouthpieces then the Getzen Arnold Jacobs mouthpiece would be a good one to consider. It is a fairly deep funnel with a sharp rim. It seems larger than a Shilke Helleburg II, but maybe not at big as a PT-50.

As with any of the various musical expression tools, there will be some who get great results with it, others with mediocre results, and still others whose production suffers with it's use. Every musical product made is the perfect match for certain players with certain equipment in certain situations.

If you do get the mouthpiece on evaluation, step into a hall which is typical of where you perform most and have a trusted set of ears give you feedback. Also possibly ask for feedback from your fellow ensemble musicians to see if they notice any changes.

Try to be objective and honest of the results.
